The following is Anneliese Michel's exorcism in text, found on a web site listed below that appears to be a dead link at this time. I found it difficult to find a translation of the german exorcism, although I do now see some YouTube video of the actual tapes at this time. I will provide that documentation in this site as well in the near future. I feel its important to have this information out for public consumption.war between heaven and hell

The following is a post which appeared on Steve Ray's "Defenders of the Catholic Faith" forum. it provides a link to the tape(s) of the exorcism of Analise Michelle; this exorcism and the death of Analise are the basis of the recent movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose."
all that follows was originally posted by TanGo

1. All of this is found in the original German at this website: http://www.najukorea.de/web_michel/index.htm

2. The priests involved did many exorcisms on a German girl, Anneliese Michel (on whom the movie "Exorcism of Emily Rose" is loosely based) over a span from 1975 to 1976 before the girl died on July 1, 1976.

3. In the interest of saving some space, I'm going to provide only my translation into English. Some of it is/was difficult to translate due to some technical words or idiomatic expressions with which I'm not familiar.

4. I'm not 100% sure that this cassette tape is one exorcism session or if it's collected from several sessions. (It could easily be from one session since it's just on one tape and exorcisms, as I understand it, last longer than a one-hour cassette.)

Where my translation seems sketchy or difficult to grasp, I apologize. Hopefully you will be able to get the main gist of what's being said. On occasion, the German made no sense to me whatsoever in terms of connectivity to previous or subsequent statements made. I will attempt to provide my own notes in brackets.

Final note: The words of the demon(s) will be spelled out in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS to try and help distinguish who's talking.

I had a little trouble with some Latin used by the priest.. I've translated it where I knew what it was, but otherwise left it intact in Latin. I also left some of the original German.. maybe someone can understand it better than I was able to. Some ramblings (especially in the first part) are difficult to understand what's going on or what's being talked about... sometimes it appears the demons jump back and forth between topics. The deeper you get into it, the better it flows, however.
