Stephen Hawking - There is no Heaven

Written by Super User on . Posted in Paranormal

There is major buzz all over the net about Stephen Hawking's latest interview, which I have a few thoughts on the subject myself. Hawking states "Heaven is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark".

Einstein once reportedly stated his own accumulated knowledge represented less than one percent of all available knowledge. He supposed heaven could exist outside his awareness. Einstein's answer was a reasoned estimation based on a finite existence, and inability to ever verify this. Hawking's supposition starts from a similar point but he then points out there is no God, or heaven, a point which even he could not know.

Quantum Mechanics and String theory, include "spooky action at a distance", the literal phrase used when particles at opposite ends of the universe are able to share information instantaneously. In other science, the speed of light is reported as 186,282 miles per second, and is the maximum speed at which all energy, matter, and information in the universe can travel.

quantum entanglement

Obviously both these theories cannot be correct. The fact of the matter is these theories are absolutely that. Theories. The sub atomic level mathematics and the mathematics of our observable world, do not jive at all, although these ideas are paraded as fact, rather than theory, in various scientific TV shows, especially in the UK, where, incidentally, atheism is on the rise.

Books on the subject of string theory and quantum mechanics are far more honest about the status of these theories. Even as such, science is quite valuable and working these theories out to a one 'unified theory' that would accurately explain all things, sub atomic and the standard model, and tie these together mathematically.

However, even if the the science is correct, it calls for some kind of teleportation,  and or things that do not make any sense in our daily understanding of the world around us.

My point would be, in regards to the existence of God, and heaven, etc is that, if anything, the further we press the limits of understanding, it is being shown even through science, that objects do not behave as we would expect, other dimensions exist in these theories, and many more anomalies. So as a theoretical physicist would place more faith in these theories than in God, it is here that a certain amount of irony lives.

My last reading of string theory is that the mathematics point towards a total of 11 possible dimensions. Obviously, we as humans do not run into God on a daily basis, and it would be quite reasonable to assume He would exist outside of this dimension.

Now, of course, there are many, many arguments for why this, and why that. Why the suffering, why the evil, basically, why are we in the 'Human Condition'? Although my understanding is just as limited as anyone else's, I would argue there is a war between good and evil, God and the Devil for the souls of humanity. To me, the science is showing mathematically the existence of free will. God allowed free will as he did not want robots doing his bidding. In this, there was a rebellion of a third of the angels (demons) who were cast down, and now rule Earth, thus the suffering.

Now, this is just my belief, and not to be taken as what one should do with his or her life on the planet. I do not endorse any kind of cult like religions where one is isolated and brainwashed, or told to fly planes into buildings. This has nothing to do with a true belief in God. One should be given all sides of all stories and make their own mind up.

Heaven

I believed evolution for a time as I was taught both sides as a child, creation, and evolution. First I believed creation, then as a teen, I believed evolution as it was taught in school. I no longer believe we came from monkeys. I have not believed that for a long time. Nor do I believe any interpretation of creation by others. I operate on independent thought entirely. The are many reasons I come to this conclusion. The first is part of the reason is why I created this website. There are an incredible amount of things that go on without rational explanation, some of which I have had first hand experience with.

Also, I just personally believe there is a reason for the struggle we are all living. Evolution does nothing to explain the existence of the universe, multiverse, or omniverse itself. The big bang theory itself may even be incorrect as reported in these pages in another article. Evolution states we came from monkeys. Well......where did the monkeys come from, and infinitely regress from there. You end up at a point of nothingness.

The main reason for my throwing in with God, is that, there could be no scientific reason for the creation of Something from Nothing, ie; the creation of the universe itself.

Stephen Hawking is wrong on this one.

Solid Evidence of Life After Death

Written by Super User on . Posted in Paranormal

Pam Reynolds Lowery from Atlanta, Georgia was an American singer-songwriter. In 1991, at the age of 35, she had a near-death experience (NDE) during a brain operation. Her NDE is one of the most notable and best documented in NDE research.

During "standstill" operation, Pam's brain was found "dead" by all three clinical tests - her electroencephalogram was silent, her brain-stem response was absent, and no blood flowed through her brain which left her clinically dead. Interestingly, while in this state, she encountered the "deepest" NDE of all.

I find this a compelling case of proof, as the first argument given by atheists is that the brain is panicking and shooting chemicals everywhere as it knows it is dying, thus providing some sort of cocktail ofNear Death Experience stress relief and pain killer among other claims. The brain most likely does do those things, but that would be impossible in this case.

She also describes things happening around and outside her body as the doctors work. It would be impossible for her to know these things in a state of clinical death.

She made several observations about the procedure which later were confirmed by medical personnel as surprisingly accurate.

Pamela Reynolds Lowery later died of heart failure at the age of 53 (1956 -- May 22, 2010) at Emory University Hospital.

This famous near-death experience is considered by many to be proof of the reality of the survival of consciousness after death, and of a life after death.

Her out-of-body recollection is "the single best instance we now have in the literature on near-death experiences to confound the skeptics," according to Kenneth Ring, professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Connecticut and a chronicler of these episodes.

These are two cases of the tens of thousands documented Near Death Experiences. The first case Pam Reynolds has brain surgery and is intensionally going to be placed in a state of 'death' for an hour. These are medical doctors who stop her heart, and stop all biological processes to remove a large tumor at the base of her brain. I am curious if there are any atheist readers who would like to comment. The argument that she is dreaming, or the brain is sending down chemicals is not really there in this case.

In the second case a Teenage girl who drowned, describes the work the doctors were doing at a time when she was clinically dead.

The San Pedro Poltergeist

One of the more infamous haunting investigations was the San Pedro Haunting or the Jackie Hernandez case. Dr. Barry Taff got involved in the case, along with cameraman Barry Conrad, in 1989 when he was asked to look into a house in San Pedro, California that was allegedly being haunted. The owner of the house was Jackie Hernandez, a young woman who also had some emotional problems in the past.

The investigators were told of strange smells, unexplained sounds, moving objects, apparitions, a glowing cloud that tried to suffocate her (and which had appeared in front of other witnesses) and actually witnessed a peculiar, dripping substance dripping from the kitchen cabinets.

The events in the house grew stronger and even followed Jackie from place to place. Taff began to believe that she was creating the phenomena unconsciously because of her emotional problems and what became a strong romantic attachment to Barry Conrad. It seemed that anyone who might be perceived as threat to Jackie’s relationship with Barry ended up on the end of a violent attack by the poltergeist.

However, there are problems with the theory that this was strictly a haunting brought on by living subject. The unexplained lights are certainly odd and so would be the reports of male apparitions from witnesses. Also, as Taff found out later, Jackie’s house continued to be reported as haunted long after she moved out. According to the owners, no subsequent tenants stayed there for longer than 6 months. Could this be merely some residual from Jackie’s presence there or was there really a bonifide malevolent spirit?

Here is a link to a recent interview with Barry Conrad:

Here is another brief version of the investigation:

On the night of August 8, 1989, Barry Conrad along with friend and photographer Jeff Wheatcraft, and Dr. Barry Taff, formerly with UCLA’s parapsychology lab and principal investigator of the now famous “Entity” case, would be witness to some of the most compelling and disturbing paranormal activity. Hernandez had told them stories of flying lamps, oozing blood-like gelatin from the walls, an apparition of a decaying old man, an invisible force that would hold her down as though trying to smother her, as well as a floating disembodied head in her attic.

So before they left that evening Conrad suggested that Wheatcraft check out the attic. Not long after crawling through the small hole in the ceiling, Jeff’s camera was ripped from his hands into the darkness of the attic. Expectedly, quite shaken he bolted from the attic.

Later he would venture back up into the attic in hopes of retrieving the camera. As he searched the empty attic he found an old dusty grape box, which when opened contained his camera, but strangely no lens. Continuing his search he found the surprisingly undamaged lens behind the trap door to the attic.

Jeff decided to see if he could get a couple more shots before leaving. But as he began shooting a foul stench began to permeate the attic and without warning he was shoved by an invisible hand into the rafters. And this wasn’t the worst of the activity.

A month later on September 4th, they would be called back by a frantic Jackie Hernandez. The activity was escalating and getting more violent. Arriving around 1am, Jeff and friend Gary decided they should investigate the attic again. Jeff would pay for it, as he was attacked more brutally than the first encounter. Conrad down below with Hernandez heard a loud moan, it was Jeff.

Something had grabbed Jeff by the neck and pulled him into the rafters. Somehow able to pull himself free, Jeff and Gary exited the attic. It was then that they all noticed an old cord wrapped around Jeffs neck. It was then that Gary explained that he actually had to pull Jeff off a nail in the rafter and if he hadn’t been there Jeff might have been strangled to death. But there was a plus to the attack, Gary snapped off a photo at the precise moment of the entity yanking Jeff into the rafters.

Jackie Hernandez would eventually move out of the house after the activity became so dangerous that she felt her children were in danger.

Policewoman Claims Black Shadow Ghost Attacked Her

Other cops have reported seeing a woman and girl covered in blood at an Argentinian police academy

Ghost Attack

A trainee police officer claims she was attacked by a ghost which grabbed and scratched her during a night shift. The supposed attack took place in a room where other cadets have also reported spooky encounters.

One claims to have seen the figures of a woman and a girl covered in blood. Maria Fernanda, 25, was on midnight guard duty at the Police Training Academy in Buenos Aires, Argentina when she claims to have heard a scratching sound coming from one of the lecture rooms.

When she called her boss he told her to wait outside while he checked. But seeing nothing unusual inside he told her not to worry and went back to his office. Freaked out Fernanda said: "No sooner had my boss gone than I heard the noise again.

Ghost Attack

"I pulled my service revolver out and went in and then I saw this black shadow flying across the room towards me. "Before I could react it grabbed me and I screamed and ran full pelt to the bathroom where I locked myself in.  "I then noticed there was blood on my face, arms and chest and realised it had scratched me."

Fernanda immediately reported the incident to her superiors who began an investigation.

Ghost Attack

A police spokesman for the academy said: "This is not the first report we have had of strange sightings in that part of the building.

"Another cadet also reported seeing a black shadow while another said she had seen a woman and a girl covered in blood.

"In one of the bunk beds she found some blood stains and claw marks and others have reported seeing ghostly figures disappear.

"But this is the first time one of our cadets has been physically assaulted.

"We are looking into it."

The Enfeild Poltergeist

 Enfield Poltergiest

The original name of this case is really misleading. (The Enfield Poltergeist)  There are no poltergeists.

One continuous theme you will find not only in this case, but many reported hauntings is the paranormal happenings in a series of threes. Three knocks, Three scratches, etc. Three pm is when Christ died on the cross. Three am is the mocking hour for demons. They also mock the Trinity in this way. There are no poltergeists or ghosts, demons want you to believe this.

Demons can impersonate voices and can appear to you as anything they want....even your grandmother who passed on. Don't fall for it. Their every intent is to destroy people especially the family unit, and faith.

Whitley Strieber - in Communion recounts a time in his upstate New York cabin when he's visited by 'aliens'. It begins with a triad of odd knocking sounds.

Among other alleged phenomena they witnessed was Janet speaking using her false vocal folds for hours on end while she was apparently possessed by another entity. Speaking in this way is believed to be medically impossible.

When speaking with the false cords Janet said she was "Bill" who had died in the house of a brain hemorrhage. The "Bill" persona habitually made jokes and exhibited a very nasty temper, swearing at Maurice, once calling him a "fucking old sod".

Grosse was contacted by a man who claimed to be Bill's son, who had, in fact, died in the way the voice described. Recordings were made of these occurrences. After the BBC went to the house the recording crew found the metal inside of the recording machines bent, and recordings erased.

The Enfield Poltergeist Janet Hodgson 2012 on this morning. Janet is obviously disturbed by the entire incident, and rarely gives interviews.
