Anthony Constantino's hypnosis sessions helped four men relive their alleged UFO abductions When you chat with Anthony Constantino, there's always one inevitable question: "Do you believe them?" "Them" is a group of four friends who went camping on the Allagash Waterway in northern Maine in the summer of 1976. Maybe you saw them recently on the Joan Rivers Show, where they detailed an ordeal in which they claimed they had a close encounter with a UFO. They are receiving national attention with the release this summer of "The Allagash Abductions" written by Raymond Fowler of Wenham who is a director of investigations for the Mutual UFO Network. Those who are familiar with this case know that the full story, with all its mysterious and harrowing details, wasn't revealed until Anthony Constantino of Beverly placed the four men under hypnosis, and revealed events that had been pushed into their unconscious. It was the most intense experience I've had as a hypnotist," says Constantino. The conscious part of the story begins on Thursday, August 26, 1976, when the four men - Chuck Rak, Charlie Foltz, and identical twins Jim and Jack Weiner, set up camp on Eagle Lake in Maine, and decided to go fishing in the evening. They built a huge bonfire to act as a beacon for their return to camp. Soon after they were out in their canoe, they saw "a large bright sphere of colored light hovering motionless and soundless about 200 to 300 feet above the southeastern rim of the cove," according to Rak. Foltz blinked a flashlight at the object. Maybe that was a bad idea. The UFO began to approach the canoe, while a cone-shaped beam of light from the object struck the water and began following the canoe. More inspired than any Olympic athletes, the four campers began paddling for shore. But the beam engulfed them, and the next thing they remembered, they were in the canoe, near the shore of the lake, watching the UFO ascend and disappear. The bonfire was now nothing more than embers. Built with heavy logs, the fire should have lasted hours. It was the first indication that more time had elapsed than they could remember, but they had no conscious memory of what had happened. It was years later before the four men explored that missing period of time. When Jim Weiner suffered tempero-limbic epilepsy, his doctors asked him to report any unusual experiences that might be symptomatic. Weiner described his UFO experience, and various phenomena that had happened to him and his camping buddies since then. His doctors suggested he contact a UFO researcher. Enter Anthony Constantino. A professional hypnotist from Beverly, who also works as an English teacher at Masconomet High School, Constantino had hypnotized Ray Fowler in 1988, helping him to remember the details of Fowler's own alleged abduction in Danvers. Fowler was leading the investigation of the Allagash abductions for the Mutual UFO Network, and he wanted Constantino to hypnotize each of the four men separately. All four men were willing to participate. "It's natural," says Constantino. "They wanted to know if something had happened to them -- especially if it were something traumatic. They wanted to know for sure." GOING UNDER In 1989, in the dark den of Constantino's Beverly home, each of the four men separately recounted a tale of being beamed aboard the UFO that night on Eagle Lake. Under hypnosis, they described the diffusely lit, sterile interior of the spacecraft, the spindly fingered big-eyed bald-headed aliens that Whitley Strieber popularized with his non-fiction book "Communion", and strange medical experiments conducted on each man. Constantino says Fowler was cool and professional as he observed the 12 hours of hypnosis sessions, but Constantino admits that at times he had difficulty repressing his own astonishment. "I'm the one who kept making faces at Ray, like,'I can't believe this. I can't believe what was done to these guys." Which brings us back to The Question. Constantino conducted three-hour hypnosis sessions with each of the four men. He heard their voices fill with fear as they explained how medical instruments were inserted into their bodies, and how communication from the aliens was telepathic. Constantino says he went into the session "with no pre-concieved notions," nothing more than a healthy curiosity about an unexplained phenomenom. But was he convinced? "Do you believe them?" Constantino is asked. He pauses and rubs his chin, as if weighing the gravity of the question. He looks up and nods solemnly. "I do," he says. "After working with those guys, I was scared. I still am. I think it's true. I think they were being tagged -- the way we tag and study sharks and bears and then release them. The men were highly indignant that they were taken (aboard) and these things were done to them without their permission. THE DANVERS ABDUCTION It wasn't the first time Constantino had seen a man tortured by a memory he couldn't quite grasp. When Fowler went in search of a hypnotist to help him with the Allegash abductions, he asked Constantino, who was interviewing for the role of hypnotist, to put him under. Fowler wanted to see if he could remember any other details of his own abduction in Danvers. Constantino says he will always remember how emotionally distraught Fowler became under hypnosis, as new details of his abduction emerged. "He was sobbing and crying," Constantino remembers. "I kept asking him if he wanted to stop, but he said, 'No, lets go on.' But finally he was shaking and I just couldn't continue, so I pulled him out and we continued later." The new information was a vital part of Fowler's 1990 Bantam book, "The Watchers," which included his abduction from the Danvers home of his youth. And Constantino's hypnosis sessions with the Allegash men were a key part of the 10-volume, 700 page report that Fowler filed. One of the intriguing aspects of Constantino's character is that, although he believes the four Allegash men, he's willing to play the role of the skeptic. He admits that hypnosis is no truth serum. People can lie under hypnosis just as they can lie when they are fully conscious. In fact, people can even feign being hypnotized. Although there are checks a hypnotist can use to detect a fraud, they are never fool-proof. Constantino also points out that people under hypnosis are prone to "confabulation." "Confabulation is not deliberate lying," he says. "It's an attempt by the subject to fill in gaps in the story. Maybe he wants answers for himself, or maybe he's trying to please the hypnotist. Whatever the reason, it makes him create details that he can't actually remember." The chances for confabulation are reduced by a hypnotist who knows how not to lead a subject in questioning. For example, the hypnotist doesn't ask," Did he have a moustache?" Instead, he says, "Look at his face, tell me what you see." Constantino admits that cynics have plenty of fodder against cases like the Allegash abductions. The four abducted men say they were warned not to tell anyone about the abduction, but Constantino points out, " If (the aliens) were so advanced, why would they care if the men spoke about their experiences?" And imagine how advanced a civilization would have to be to perfect a form of space travel that we could only imagine. They would be operating with a mastery of physics far beyond human comprehension. So, if an alien species were that advanced, doesn't it seem likely that they would be able to pluck human guinea pigs, perform their experiments, and then wash the memories of their subjects so thoroughly that there wouldn't even be an unconscious trace of the experience? And if the aliens aren't afraid of being known ( after all, what could we possibly do to battle them?), why do these spaceships always appear in remote sections of Maine, rather than hovering over Manhattan? And what are the chances that an alien from such a far-away galaxy would have such a B-movie, humanoid appearance? Constantino admits that all these questions are valid. "I don't know what to tell you," he says. But that doesn't stop him from believing. Not only is he convinced that these four respectable men believe what they are saying, he also believes they were actually abducted. "These are not four kooks," he says. " These are four decent, sincere human beings." "It bothers me when people who haven't seen this (phenomenon) call the people who have 'liars'. When you see these people sitting through hypnosis, suffering, when you see Ray Fowler crying at the memory, it's not so easy to say they're lying."

There is major buzz all over the net about Stephen Hawking's latest interview, which I have a few thoughts on the subject myself. Hawking states "Heaven is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark".
Einstein once reportedly stated his own accumulated knowledge represented less than one percent of all available knowledge. He supposed heaven could exist outside his awareness. Einstein's answer was a reasoned estimation based on a finite existence, and inability to ever verify this. Hawking's supposition starts from a similar point but he then points out there is no God, or heaven, a point which even he could not know. Quantum Mechanics and String theory, include "spooky action at a distance", the literal phrase used when particles at opposite ends of the universe are able to share information instantaneously. In other science, the speed of light is reported as 186,282 miles per second, and is the maximum speed at which all energy, matter, and information in the universe can travel. Obviously both these theories cannot be correct. The fact of the matter is these theories are absolutely that. Theories. The sub atomic level mathematics and the mathematics of our observable world, do not jive at all, although these ideas are paraded as fact, rather than theory, in various scientific TV shows, especially in the UK, where, incidentally, atheism is on the rise. Books on the subject of string theory and quantum mechanics are far more honest about the status of these theories. Even as such, science is quite valuable and working these theories out to a one 'unified theory' that would accurately explain all things, sub atomic and the standard model, and tie these together mathematically. However, even if the the science is correct, it calls for some kind of teleportation,  and or things that do not make any sense in our daily understanding of the world around us. My point would be, in regards to the existence of God, and heaven, etc is that, if anything, the further we press the limits of understanding, it is being shown even through science, that objects do not behave as we would expect, other dimensions exist in these theories, and many more anomalies. So as a theoretical physicist would place more faith in these theories than in God, it is here that a certain amount of irony lives. My last reading of string theory is that the mathematics point towards a total of 11 possible dimensions. Obviously, we as humans do not run into God on a daily basis, and it would be quite reasonable to assume He would exist outside of this dimension. Now, of course, there are many, many arguments for why this, and why that. Why the suffering, why the evil, basically, why are we in the 'Human Condition'? Although my understanding is just as limited as anyone else's, I would argue there is a war between good and evil, God and the Devil for the souls of humanity. To me, the science is showing mathematically the existence of free will. God allowed free will as he did not want robots doing his bidding. In this, there was a rebellion of a third of the angels (demons) who were cast down, and now rule Earth, thus the suffering. Now, this is just my belief, and not to be taken as what one should do with his or her life on the planet. I do not endorse any kind of cult like religions where one is isolated and brainwashed, or told to fly planes into buildings. This has nothing to do with a true belief in God. One should be given all sides of all stories and make their own mind up.   I believed evolution for a time as I was taught both sides as a child, creation, and evolution. First I believed creation, then as a teen, I believed evolution as it was taught in school. I no longer believe we came from monkeys. I have not believed that for a long time. Nor do I believe any interpretation of creation by others. I operate on independent thought entirely. The are many reasons I come to this conclusion. The first is part of the reason is why I created this website. There are an incredible amount of things that go on without rational explanation, some of which I have had first hand experience with. Also, I just personally believe there is a reason for the struggle we are all living. Evolution does nothing to explain the existence of the universe, multiverse, or omniverse itself. The big bang theory itself may even be incorrect as reported in these pages in another article. Evolution states we came from monkeys. Well......where did the monkeys come from, and infinitely regress from there. You end up at a point of nothingness. The main reason for my throwing in with God, is that, there could be no scientific reason for the creation of Something from Nothing, ie; the creation of the universe itself. Stephen Hawking is wrong on this one.

"All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb. The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one’s breath. It will cover several continents..." An old woman of 90 from Valdres in Norway had a vision from God in 1968. The evangelist Emanuel Minos had meetings (services) where she lived. He had the opportunity to meet her, and she told him what she had seen. He wrote it down, but thought it to be so unintelligible that he put it in a drawer. Now, almost 30 years later, he understands he has to share the vision with others.


The woman from Valdres was a very alert, reliable, awake and credible Christian, with a good reputation among all who knew her. This is what she saw:


"I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. I saw the events with my natural eyes. I saw the world like a kind of a globe and saw Europe, land by land. I saw Scandinavia. I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would take place just before the return of Jesus, and just before the last calamity happens, a calamity the likes of which we have never before experienced.


She mentioned four waves:


1. "First before Jesus comes and before the Third World War breaks out there will be a ‘détente’ like we have never had before. There will be peace between the super powers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. (Remember, that this was in 1968 when the cold war was at its highest. E. Minos) In this period of peace there will be disarmament in many countries, also in Norway and we are not prepared when it (the war) comes. The Third World War will begin in a way no one would have anticipated - and from an unexpected place.


2. "A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity.


"The important thing will be to have success, to be something; to have material things, things that God never promised us in this way. Churches and prayer houses will be emptier and emptier. Instead of the preaching we have been used to for generations -like, to take your cross up and follow Jesus, - entertainment, art and culture will invade the churches where there should have been gatherings for repentance and revival. This will increase markedly just before the return of Jesus.


3. "There will be a moral disintegration that old Norway has never experienced the likes of. People will live together like married without being married. (I do not believe the concept ‘co-habitor’? existed in 1968 - E. Minos.) Much uncleanness before marriage, and much infidelity in marriage will become the natural (the common), and it will be justified from every angle. It will even enter Christian circles and we pet it - even sin against nature. Just before Jesus return there will be TV- programs like we have never experienced. (TV had just arrived in Norway in 1968. E. Minos)


"TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. There will not be only one ‘station’ on TV, it will be filled with ‘stations.’ (She did not know the word ‘channel’ which we use today. Therefore she called them stations. E. Minos.) TV will be just like the radio where we have many ‘stations,’ and it will be filled with violence. People will use it for entertainment. We will see terrible scenes of murder and destruction one of the other, and this will spread in society. Sex scenes will also be shown on the screen, the most intimate things that takes place in a marriage." (I protested and said, we have a paragraph that forbids this kind of thing. E. Minos.) There the old woman said: "It will happen, and you will see it. All we have had before will be broken down, and the most indecent things will pass before our eyes."


4. "People from poor countries will stream to Europe. (In 1968 there was no such thing as immigration. E. Minos.) They will also come to Scandinavia - and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War. Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached (I protested at the issue of immigration. I did not understand it at the time. E. Minos.)


The tears streamed from the old woman’s eyes down her cheeks. "I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war." (She saw it in the vision.)


"All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb. The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one’s breath. It will cover several continents, America, Japan, Australia and the wealthy nations. The water will be ruined (contaminated?). We can no longer till the soil. The result will be that only a remnant will remain. The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them.


"I am so glad that I will not see it, but when the time draws near, you must take courage and tell this. I have received it from God, and nothing of it goes against what the Bible tells.


"The one who has his sin forgiven and has Jesus as Savior and Lord, is safe."


WHEN THE OIL FLOWS

An elder in the Pentecostal Church at Moss, Norway, Martin Andersen, heard the following prophecy in 1937, in Moss:

‘When oil comes out of the North Sea and along the Norwegian coast, things will begin to happen, and the return of Jesus is approaching.’

When these words had been proclaimed, people stood up in the congregation and asked the man to sit down and not speak such nonsense. In 1937 it was indeed nonsense to talk about oil being pumped along the Norwegian coast. Today all the world’s big oil companies are pumping oil along the coast of Norway. Norway is the world’s second greatest exporter of oil - after Saudi Arabia.

The sum of it all is: Jesus is coming soon (suddenly).

Cokeville Wyoming was the sight of a parent's worst nightmare on May 16th, 1986 when a mentally disturbed man and his wife entered an elementary school with guns and a homemade gasoline bomb. The man's name was David Young, a former town marshal.  He had been the tiny's towns only police officer in six months during 1979 and when he was fired, he moved to Tucson, Arizona.  He and his wife returned to Cokeville in 1986 and carried out their insidious plan.  Young had a manifesto called "Zero-Infiniti"  and proclaimed "this is a revolution!" as he and his wife took an entire generation - over 160 children and teachers - hostage and wouldn't release them until he was given 300 million dollars and a personal phone call from the President of the United States. Keeping all the children in a single room and standing in the middle of it, the Youngs began a standoff that would last 2 1/2 hours.  David left the room leaving his wife alone and it was then that the bomb went off instantly killing Doris.  Young returned and seeing his wife dead, turned his gun on himself and pulled the trigger. The miraculous thing is that despite the shooting and the detonation of the bomb, the Youngs were the only casualties.  Some children suffered flash burns from the explosion, but all were alive.  In the last 20 years, this event has become known as The Miracle of Cokesville. The story runs deeper.  Bomb experts called out to the scene were stunned.  They couldn't figure out why the school was still intact when a bomb that size should have obliterated the entire side of the building leaving everyone - the hostage-takers and the hostages - all dead.  How was this possible?  To this day no one has provided an explanation.  The children and teachers were alive and that was all that apparently mattered. Then the children began to tell stories of angels who appeared to them and instructed them to move to a corner of the classroom because the bomb was about to explode.  Some reported seeing beautiful figures in white while others said that they saw long-dead relatives telling them not to be afraid.  Many said later that there was an angel in the room for every child and that each was protecting their charge.  Some children said that they didn't see anything, but rather heard disembodied voices telling them that the disaster was about to happen and that they would be spared. All of these stories may seem like a child's fancy had it not been for the miraculous survival of everyone in the room.  Adding to the mystery was the fact that on one of the blackened walls covered with shrapnel that somehow misses every child in the room was burned the outline of a human shape with wings (Special thanks to Jason Guilbault for sending me the pictures!). This story shocked the nation as a whole school was forced into a crowded classroom with a bomb as well as an armed man and his accomplice who terrorized their captives for three hours. The bomb did detonate and fire; thick black smoke and toxic fumes filled the room. Although many were burned, some severely, only the perpetrators of this horrible incident died. One of the miracles that day was that not a single person was lost. Others miracles were reported and some of those are recorded in this compilation...."
